Great food and service at a good price
My husband and I were there on our Labour Day weekend..Saturday night ....owner and staff were all very friendly ! They were all very accommodating...we had planned on going into Alexandria Bay that evening but spent the whole time there instead ! Had drinks then supper at the cafe ..food was excellent !!!
I called the owner of the hotel at 9 PM on the night I was hoping to stay because prior plans had fallen through. Although she wasn't on-site, she raced down from her home to greet us and show us to our room. The rooms are quaint, but clean; this is a great value for $49.00/night. The following morning, we enjoyed a cup of coffee with the owner. Above all else, that is what makes this a five-star review. She was warm, welcoming, and very conversational. As someone interested in learning about the culture of small towns around the USA, she offered me a unique and fun perspective. I would certainly stay here again.
Clean and comfortable with sufficient heat for cold weather. I arrived very late without a chance for dinner and the owner was kind enough to make me a sandwich. For me it's a definite yes when I go that way again.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and very reasonable prices. The owners are always welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant across the parking lot offers a delicious menu. Minutes away from both Alexandria Bay and Clayton.
